Choose the application for your site
Soil and aggregate stabilization
Polymer mixed into existing material, followed by grading and compaction. Material testing helps determine the treatment rate and design.
Erosion control
Stabilization of exposed soil on slopes, berms, and work sites. Drainage, runoff, and site conditions remain part of the design.
Road reclamation
Evaluate whether existing pavement and base materials can be reused in place, reducing the need for excavation and imported material.
What the laboratory evidence shows
Dry indirect tensile strength
Reported for 1.25% polymer treatment in TTI’s exploratory road-base study—not a compressive-strength specification.
Wet indirect tensile strength
Reported for the same treatment rate after moisture conditioning. Untreated wet specimens were reported at 0 psi.
A defined test, not every soil
The study used Type D Grade 1–2 road base and identified T-Pro 550. Results should not be generalized to all formulations or sites.
